  1. Small video on Mallard. Hopefully next updates would be layout updates.
  2. No progress on layout yet, but finally some wood have arrived. Also amazing addition to the engine shed: And some rolling stock:
  3. Your is much more careful and tidy
  4. I've bought same box. But for separating I've just cut initial insert 🀣
  5. Just today Modeloco YouTube have posted a layout cab ride
  6. I've bought some freight cars and recorded small "Shunting" and running session 🫣
  7. Ok, so I am safe now 🀣 Was thinking about this very long Was thinking to stick to era <= 4 for now. But so worried that all these good trains would not be available afterwards 😬
  8. Initially I've watched lots of OO videos and then bought a Flying Scotsman train set. Regretted after first run as realised I don't have good space ever for a set Then watched videos on TT (funny enough video of "favourite" youtuber πŸ˜†)and was itching to buy it. But was "forced" to make more research in order to avoid repeating mistake. Now I am super happy to have my Scotsman TT set 😁 And trying to grow it πŸš‚
  9. I do not understand this, why do they release them without the coaches?
  10. Great video, thank. Was interesting to hear the history behind both of you.
  11. Is it good practice to add a way to switch on/off the lights? I've seen in @Rallymattvideo used magnet switch, this is best approach or is there something better?
  12. Thanks everyone. I will try to aim for 4 parts. (Not all buildings in place due to SCARM free limit) That's going to be interesting learning exercise.
  13. Do you mean in 4 parts? Just cut vertical and horizontal? Yes this would work storage, but on top suppose to be station, cut it? Also there is are into the siding, how to connect it then?
  14. I was trying to "consult" with ChatGPT on how to split this. His suggestion: Station Module: One large module including the station and platforms. This module would be rectangular but with one side angled to accommodate the platform tracks. Curve Modules: Four modules, each taking a quarter of the main loop. These modules would have a curved trapezoidal shape. Goods Shed Module: A rectangular module including the good shed and its sidings. Engine Shed Module: Including the turnouts leading to the shed, this could be a rectangular module with one corner cut out to accommodate the track layout. Straight Modules: Any straight sections of track that don’t include major features could be created as standard straight modules. I was thinking like: Station Module: 1 Curve Modules: 3 and 4 Goods Shed Module + Engine Shed Module: 5 (Biggest) Straight Modules + Bottom sidings: 2 How realistic is this?
