AndrewBall
HI,Has anyone else had this problem? And if so how did you solve it?My laptop threw a major wobbly when I tried to upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and as a result I had to reset it to "out of the factory" condition, but when I reinstalled my Railmaster software on the same laptop it was on originally, it won't let me activate it. There's no explanatiopn as to why just a message to tell me to check that I've entered the activation key correctly. I've checked and checked, got other members of my family to check too, I HAVE entered the activation key correctly, but it's not being accepted.Anyone got any ideas>ThanksAndrew
gilbo2
You need to contact Hornby through the ? icon and then the "send help request" button. They need to de-register your old license at their end so your re-installation can be re-registered.You will need to send your details, including license key
Fishmanoz
If you have to do that factory reset again, try to remember to deactivate RM first, then you can reactivate when you reinstall. But RM Support will fix it for you in no time flat as suggested by dg.
