peter _murray
I have set ports 9-12 to run on continuous current. They each run a simple relay which controls various lights on the layout. Each port is working well and does what is expected of it. I have set each port as a signal and control them through railmaster/elite. I can run ports 9 & 10 together and 11 & 12 together but not any other combinations. I think I have the resistance for each relay correct ,by calculation only, by my reckoning each port is drawing 40mA, well inside the capabilities of the unit at 240mA total. Is there something I am missing.Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Peter
idlemarvel
I can't explain why it should be this way, but as a workaround how about using latching relays, then you only need a pulse from the accessory decoder. I do that with all my LED signals as the polarity of accessory decoders is the wrong way around for most LEDs.
96RAF
Can R8247 run all 4 ports continuous current or only 1.
peter _murray
I can vouch for the fact that it will do two ports at once as that works for me, it is running all 4 at once that is causing a problem and , for me, only run in 9/10. & 11/12 combinations
