DiesAL
Am I right in thinking there is no way of incorporating inclines and/or split levels on Trackmaster? I know you can overlay track but is there no way of doing this so you know what the gradient of any inclines are and how much length you will need to make it work? HornbyRailMasterSupport
TrackMaster is a simple, flat 2D track planning program. You cannot show gradients because there is no 3D or sideways view, so it is not necessary. To mark out gradients, or indeed anything else, just place a label by the track and type in a note. ModelerXYZ
I designed my multi-level with it by doing 2 plans, one for the upper level and 1 fro the lower level, and then comblining the two. things can be stacked on top of each other on the plan so its not too bad. Fishmanoz
There is another way - use a more capable layout program such as Anyrail which handles inclines (including if a preset gradient has been exceeded), flexible track and other brands such as Peco points. Plus much more too. There are other brands too.
