Captant
Just tried to install the latest update 1.57. It didn't work. Froze the programme and the computer. Have contacted support. Had to restore the computer to earlier restore point. Am using windows 8.1. Suggest you make a new restore point before downloading the update; just in case. HornbyRailMasterSupport
Several thousand users have automatically downloaded the latest update without issue. It is not necessary to create a restore point in Windows as the update in no way affects any Windows components. If your RailMaster did not work after the automatic update then the most logical explanation is that the file was corrupted during the download process, which is rare. In this case the simplest solution is to just download and install the update manually from www.powerpos.com/rail-master/rm_setup.exe and run it again. This will then correct any problems.
