Johnde
i have been watching the website regarding the release of the class 40 D232 which recently was given as February 2015.Now it has vanished from the online Hornby site. Anybody know what is going on. Have Hornby decided not to produce the model after lifting our hopes of a Class 40 with sound ! anybody know
walkingthedog
A majority of the locos on the Sea Day list are not on the web site at present. Perhaps they are waiting until they are sure they will be available on the date specified before putting them in the shop for pre-order.
PJ_model_trains
Hi Johnde I noticed this also but, didn't worry. They only have listed online what has been launched to date. This tells me that they are in the 2015 catalogue to be released in 2.5 days time. I am sure they they pop up again on Wednesday. I have pre-ordered the Class 40 due in February PJ
Johnde
Be interesting to see how the sound compares with the B version, I am quite critical of 40 sound as growing up with them in the Manchester area. A wonderfull sound was was leaving Man Vic and all the way up to Standage tunnel, nearly solid slog all the way, and then thrashing along the ECML north ofYork keeping out of the way of the Deltics. Early 1970's if you hadn't of guessed.

Johnde
As if by magic it has reappeared. The only thing that is puzzling me is that Hornby had given the 40 release date as February but Hattons are now showing it as June 2015 !!
