Sliding speed control

That's probably because the program is written to act on "mouse up" events.

Programs like this are "event" driven so that when the operating system notifies the program of an event occurring (such as Mouse Up) the program then takes the appropriate action.

RailMaster will send real-time speeds as you slide the throttle.  Within your settings "Send real-time speed" must be disabled.  You need to enable it and it will then send real time speeds.  The default settings is to enable this, so you must have disabled this at some point.

You only need to uncheck this setting if you have a very low-powered computer.
