Wayne2467
Now iam sending my duke of Gloucester back I have £140 to spend on a replacement. Can anyone recommend something that tends to be reliable as iam new to this. so something that pulls coaches rather then goods and not modern thanks
Graskie
I was just going to suggest that, Wayne, since you couldn't read and/or change any CVs with the Select from your Somerset Belle set. You would not have been able to access its full range of sounds either. Perhaps the DoG was just a bit too big for your layout. Have a look at Hornby's offerings for a smaller passenger loco on this Hornby site. Someone else will no doubt suggest a few. Probably best to avoid a sound loco for the time being and wait until you perhaps upgrade to the Elite or eLink/RailMaster arrangement, when you would be able to get into CVs. 96RAF
Beaten to it by Graskie:My suggestion was to have been, put the money towards an Elite or eLink/Railmaster package.
Fishmanoz
Make sure to tell them the DoG is faulty Wayne.
Wayne2467
iam trying to order another loco but worried that I will have the same problem as I did with the dog. Does anyone know if this is a common problem and if it is how do I go about purchasing something else? That is that it would not run properly because the cv number was wrong
96RAF
You question is a bit vague Wayne. That is a fairly common problem.Perhaps you would like to rephrase it so that we can all better understand what the problem is.
Fishmanoz
Wayne, you will have similar problems with all TTS locos, faulty or not. Non-sound locos will be fine.
