Ratch
Back on the farmhouse - this is where it sits. I have used Vallejo Model Color 163 70868 Dark Seagreen for the loft interiors Vallejo Model Color 1 70951 White mixed with Vallejo Model Color 5 70918 Ivory on the interior walls, except for the stables, where I used Vallejo Model Color 36 70804 Beige Red. The exterior walls have had diluted Vallejo Model Color 111 70987 Medium Grey brushed on for a mortar wash
Ratch
My next task was to dry-brush the brickwork. I used Andrea Color 1st Shadow & 2nd Shadow with Humbrol Acrylic 70 Matt Brick Red, not really mixed though the colours were allowed to blend. They were dry-brushed to allow the mortar to remain. Ratch
Today I bought brown scatters for the roadways and tracks and some of the trees to break up the flat base.Holes had to be drilled in the base for the trees.I used No Nails to fix them.A little static grass was put around the base of the trunk to bed it in.
