Dad_and_son_Harris
I recently purchased the old Airfix Wellington Bomber kit from ebay and the fit was awful. Really tricky to get the 2 fuselage halves to line up. A fair bit of filler went in to the horrible, unavoidable gaps. It was still nice to have it though as it isn't widely available any longer. Garry Drummond
Sorry, there are nicer more modern kits of the "Wimpey". I wouldn't buy the Airfix one . . .
Louis500
To my opinion like this type of rare kits I build are easy once like Typhoon IB but the construction of the plastic model are bad and it looks veeerrrryyyy classic after building it.
Russ1707821018
The original mold wore out, which is why the last Wellington issued by Airfix was actually a rebox of the MPM kit. Airfix needs to use their 3D scanning technology on the Wellington at Brooklands and I think they'd have a kit that would surpass the Trumpeter effort. Ratch
Definately not one to reissue, but a new tool please.
malcolmincanberra
Old and crude kit with better alternatives out there - would be pointless to re-release it.

cjb7
I would like to see a new tool Wellington now that the real thing can now be laser scanned and scaled.Remember the Wellington was the mainstay of bomber command in the early years and trained thousands of aircrew as well so I think a new tool is long overdue.cjb7
Brendon Ablitt
I'd have to say I'd love to see Airfix give the Wellington their special treatment. The future could be even brighter!!Still recently purchased an old tool from a well known auction site,How Nostalgic!!,only built the last one forty years ago ☹️. Tweezers
Nice memories of building it one Christmas day in the 1970s. Please a new tool with alternative parts for Merline engined MK II or Hercules engined MK III.
Jonathan Mock
The Airfix Wellington tooling was written off around 2005 (pre-Hornby), the moulds were no longer usable, so there'd be no chance of it being reissued. The kit that was issued in 2008 by Hornby was a rebox of he MPM model.A new tool would be oool!
