New Tool B-17 with raised rivets

The real B-17 has raised rivets and the rivet detail is prominent on the aircraft. All new releases of the Fortress from different manufactures (1/72) has recessed panel lines and no rivet details. The release in 1/32 scale has , sadly, recessed rivet details. At this big scale, had the size of rivets from the old mold Airfix 1/72 B-17G been used it would have been acceptable. As it is now, it looks like as if the rivets where pulled out and the recessed rivet details are the holes from where the rivets came from. I am wondering why manufacturers are shying away from rivets when the recessed panel lines being used when scaled up would look like canals.

It would be a big plus if alternative parts would be included like Cheyenne and old tail turret, 1-piece and 3-piece waist window transparency, staggered and not-staggered waist gun position, early and late style ball turret.

The new tooled releases of Airfix are great. A new tooled B-17G with raised rivets would stand out above the rest.
