  1. Thanks Andy. Thought I would try wiring the motors direct, missing out the digjtal plug section etc and both work as they should. So, the soldering iron will be coming out and new wires. Moral of the story - check to see if its a wiring fault first before replacing the motor.
  2. Hi all, I have 2 x 1/32 Scalextric Superkarts that have poor motors. Are these the same as the ones used in the micro Scalextric cars etc?
  3. Sorry, missed your post. What age is the child & would you be racing as well (presumably yes). Must just add that with the covid restrictions we have not raced since before the first lockdown and things do not look too good for the foreseeable future - but we will return! Thanks for the interest Shaun
  4. I am having trouble with pre order payments. This has been going on for a while, with all of the Autograph series and now the BTCC series. I only have one card set up for payments but for every item ordered keep getting emails from Scalextric informing me that payment cannot be taken with the card associated with the order and to update my card payment details. All I then do is go to my order page, choose the same card and payment is taken straight away! I am concerened that I may miss an email and as a result the order will be cancelled and getting cheesed off having to regularly log back in to my orders and pick the same (and only) card again for the payment that I used when placing the pre order.
  5. The Bury St Edmunds Scalextric Club has been running in one form or another for over 15 yrs. We are based at the Gt Welnetham community center just outside of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and currently race once a month, usually on a Saturday evening, on a six lane Scalextric Sport track of around 150 ft lane length, with a main straight around 25 ft in length and a bridge. Races are computer controlled through Race Coordinator and DS system and everything is supplied if needed - DS and Parma hand controllers and Club cars of various classes. We currently have nights racing Club cars (SCX Lorries, Scalextric Karts, Classic Minis, Racer GTs, etc) and members own cars in various categories (Scalextric, Nascar, Open, etc) Nothing is too serious, more a group of friends having fun racing slot cars. New members always welcome, but minimum age of 16.
