  2. Hi, With the 2021 range announcement of the Intercity Mk4 coaches and DVT I wanted to ask a question. Would the MK3 DVTs ever run with MK4 coaches as I have one of the R4996 Mk3 DVTs on pre-order and I wanted to know whether I should cancel this and instead pre-order one of the R40161 Mk4 versions. How much difference would there be? Also does anyone have an opinion as to whether the R3890 would run with MK4 coaches. Thanks very much.
  3. Hi, Upon receiving my full rake of the new Mk3 Intercity coaches, I found that they were fitted with the electotren close coupling type and the buffers came withing the accessory bag. As a relative novice to coupling types, this may be a stupid question, but if I were to replace the couplings with the supplied tension lock couplings supposedly I would be able to fit the buffers and run the coaches on second radius curves? Also does anyone have any opinion as to how far to fit the buffers as the product images show them pushed all the way in so they are flush with the buffer beam, whereas Mk3 blueprints that I found show them in line with the gangway. If the latter will running be problematic with the tension lock coupling? Thanks very much.
