I have downloaded the legacy ARC app and the lap counting in lane one works evertime with no issue, it also works without issue in the unoffical magic arc app. I am guessing this is probabally an issue with my devices rather than the base, unless the older arc ap and the magic app dont use all of the sensors in the ARC pro to register a lap?

I have a problem with the ARC pro base it doesn't always detect cars passing lane 1 and doesnt register the laps. I have checked the cars are assigned to the right colour in the app and synced on the base and tried it with just two cars using the red and green colours. The cars will pick up the lap every time if they go down lane two but switch them to lane 1 and it doesnt count the laps. Sometimes it will work fine and laps are counted in lane 1 fine. Its also not like it misses laps it just doesnt count any laps or counts them all. I have removed and reinstalled the app a few times and used different cars but it hasnt helped. If I switch the base to anolouge mode it detects the laps fine. Is this likley to be a problem with the base or the app? I have two android devices and it happens with both of them.

Hi Andy thanks for the reply and the welcome, the driver swapping methood you describe is the methood I was using to swap drivers and cars. As you say though its not the easiest methood and I was hoping I had missed something and their was an esaier way. I have upgraded from the ARC one to the ARC pro and it was easy to swap the drivers in and out with the ARC one. I think I will just use 3 drivers setup for the cars it seems the easier option. Thanks for the link to your guide, I will have a read through it and se if I can find an answer to an issue I am having where the cars seem to get the speed reduced randomly if we toggle incidents on even though there is no incident highlighted for either car. Is there anyway to change the colour assigned to a driver in the Scalextric ARC APP? I have three cars paired to controllers and 6 drivers added into the app. The app assigns a different colour to each driver but I only have controllers and cars paired to the red green and blue colours on the ARC pro base. This means when I change the three drivers I have to pair the controllers and cars to the colours asigned to the drives in the app.
