Andrew, Please do make contact - I don't spend es much time as I would like to in Cyprus due to work commitments, but when I'm there it's wall to wall model railways. I posted a couple of pictures on the Live Steam section of this forum. That's my layout... still under contruction, in fact, into it's third year under construction, so passengers are starting to complain bitterly! Hope to hear from you soon.

Model Railway Club.... a club layout and most have your own layouts?? how do I get to meet you? I asked this question several years ago, so asking again in case there are any new arrival since - is anyone modelling trains in Cyprus? I'm at Larnaca and it would be great if there's anyone else out here to share ideas or even beers!

Has anyone any experience on building a stone viaduct for their layout? I need to build one about 7ins high, and about 4ft long. I see kits available from Ratio etc., but the number of kits required to cover the length will be way too costly, so I'm gong to have to hand-build from something. Any thoughts? Thanks

A few bags of plaster...! Dedicated an area of my company warehouse as a railway room and planning a 25ft + layout - something I always wanted was to run full length trains!. Busy now building the 'railway room' - today's job was plastering walls. Hate plastering, but can't wait to get modelling again!
