  1. Andy, trust me you are not the only one to miss that formula pull down option on Excel! 😆 I'm showing my age now. Fully understand the point you are making though. Steve
  2. Must admit I thought the lack of pace car lane changing seemed to a retrograde step on ARC system? Steve
  3. Thanks Andy P, that's what I though might be the case but wanted to run it past the experts before Itried it out and both powerbases burst into flames! Steve
  4. Apologies Gorp, I'm hoping I can now move up from bottom of the class! I really must lay off tthe vino collapso before raising a query Think I have worded my question incorrectly. I should have said I miss the pace cars lane changing feature on the digitall mode of the C7042. So could you have both powerbases on one circuit but switch the power leads from one to the other if you wish to swap powerbases without the need to physically swap one out for the other? Not sure if you would damage the internal workings of either if you took this approach? Steve
  5. Hi All Quick question if I may - I think I saw a thread on this but cannot, for the life of me, find it again. The question being, can you have the ARC PRO powerbase and the C7042 powerbase on the same layout if only one of them is wired up to the transformers and live? The reason for asking is that I am disappointed with the analogue mode on the ARC PRO mainly because it does not allow for lane changing pace cars (neither does the Magic App). So I though if I had both powerbases set up on the same track I could switch from one to the other without keep replacing one with the other. Steve
  6. Thanks both, I'll try a little testing this evening after repositioning the Pit Lane game to the centre of the pit lane and checking LEDs and sensor for cleanliness and let you know how it goes.
  7. Hi Andy I've checked everything as you kindly advised as well as shortening pit lane and I can now reset the pit lane game so thanks for that. Only issue now is that there is no consistency in the cars being registered when they pass through the pit lane. So a bit more head scratching unless anyone had any ideas?
  8. Hi Andy Thanks for this, I will work my way through your tips, see if there is any improvement and report back. Appreciated. P.S standard pit lane game and everything else working OK
  9. Hi I've tried searching exiasting posts for an answer to my problem but to no avail. In brief I have recently bought second hand a pit lane gane to addd to my digital layout (C7042 base). However when the power is applied to the track the pit land board lights all car positions up with 2 lights each and will not allow me to reset? I've tried plugging and unplugging but the same thing happens and not as per the instructions for the game i.e. green power light on, red and green lights flash and then you should be able to program the amount of pit stops. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Steve
