Another starter kit that makes up into a good representation of the real thing . this one has had towing gables and netting added . i have also painted it a different colour and added aftermarket decals. to set it off I have added a little diorama

No3 2024 is the Airfix 1/72 Sherman firefly starter kit from Aldi . Ihave added armour plating to the sides and a bracket to the front to hold the extra stowage I have also added . Another fun build completed . A nice little diorama to set it off .

Good evening no2 for the year in the shape of the Airfix 1/43 Landrover series 1 . What a great little starter set this is enjoyed it from start to finish. I know this is aimed at new beginners but I still feel they missed a trick with this . They should have done what they did with the tiger 1 and firefly and done a more advanced version as well . They then could have included the gear levers (I have) and the exhaust and mirrors just my opinion . Went together without a hitch . I have done a little diorama just to set it off .

It’s amazing the amount of people that have not received magazines throughout the year let alone the Xmas one

Fantastic Airfix fantastic . They have fallen behind with the release of the 2024 package . My renewal runs out today so what do they do they stop me from going on to the club page . Sorry Airfix it’s your fault not mine I want to renew but you won’t let me you should let everybody that’s a member still use the site until you sort out your problem rant over

Altough started in 2023 this is first past the post for 2024 . Airfix (Lidl) 1:72 tiger 1 starter set . I have for the first time made some towing cables . Not bad for my first go room for improvement though. A little diorama to set it off . I have a few more of these and just ordered a set of decals for different regiments .
