Hi, after having problems with an older airbrush I was looking at an Hardeer and Steenbeck Ultra or Evolution 2 in 1 models and would like to use these on a current Expo tools compressor if possible. I keep looking at the airbrush and compressor kits thinking is it better to upgrade both or use the current compressor and go for a higher spec airbrush! To much choice out there and any thoughts much appreciated.

A very dodgy first coat! I know things can go wrong but at least it’s early on in the build, it’s just knowing what could have caused the primer to dry that way. It’s fixable so I’ll chalk it up to experience and re spray, sand and warm up the tin first next time, so thank you for the tip.

Hello, I used a Tamiya light grey primer spray can which was brand new and sealed, I was wondering if the can was cold as it was from the garage? On previous models this primer hasn’t been a problem so I guess it’s down to operator error!

Hi everybody, I’m a newbie to the Airfix forum and hope everyone is staying safe and well. I just wondered if anybody can give me any advice regarding my efforts to prime this model which has dried looking like I’ve smudged dirty paint over it! I have done a few models as I only started out a couple of years ago and any input would be appreciated. Many thanks!
