  1. Hi to any one who can help, I'm respraying an 8F loco and tender body into WD grey. I will be spraying the loco body grey and black and the tender all grey and the white letters plus numbers will be WD, 302 plus the WD emblem (an upside down V). Any advise will be useful. Kind regards Mike
  2. A big thank you to all of you for your replies in respect of my decal/transfer problem. Now I have some answers to finish off my locomotive :0)
  3. Hi to you all. I've purchased a BR 8F locomotive via ebay. The loco and tender are now stripped of their original black paint and in a few days time both will be resprayed black. My problem is decals/transfers, I've been on line to see I've a bit of a problem? All I want is either BR or LMS 8F decals/transfers for one locomotive not a multitude of railway items. Does any one know if its just possible to purchase decals/transfers to go all around one 8F loco being the engine and tender. I have no intentions of respraying any more locomotives so buying lots of sheets of numbers and letters seems a bit silly for me to do. Kind regards to you all Mike.
  4. Hi it's me Mike again to add a bit more information. It's a China built Evening Star body shell and there is the number S.8296 stamped inside. Regards Mike.
  5. Hi with I hope you're all keeping safe and well, I've just purchased from ebay a fairly new Evening Star body shell, the one with fitted hand rails. It's now fitted to my older version Evening Star chassis but alas the old body securing pin, s1067 I beleave, is to large for the new body shell. Could some one tell me the thread plus diameter and its replacement number of the pin I require. I've googled a search but I'm afraid I might be looking at an older version pin which I know are to large a diameter wise. So fingers crossed some one can guide me into which body securing pin I require, kind regards Mike.
  6. Hi to any one who can help. I've just purchase an R2828 Dean Single 3064 Duke Of Edinburgh on Ebay and it informs me of missing traction tyres. In my ignorance I've attempted to find the said traction tyres but alas there are to many numbers to indecate which are the correct ones. Could someone give me the correct stock number or name to enable me to purchase some. A big thank you regards Mike AA
