No,its only about 5 new ones of different makes Ninco ,Scalextric and Carrera .

Thank you for your replies ,yes the track is fairly new ,about 10 years old with the slot in connection ,and I although I have some of the old classic track I don`t use much of it . Perhaps if I adjusted the braid and trim a bit off the blade.

I am fairly new to scalextric and have over the past 12 months been expanding my collection of cars and increasing the size of the track .The biggest problem I have with some of the new cars are they are not gliding that well ,they seem to be too deep .Do I need to adjust the blade by taking a small amount off it with sand paper or something ,bit baffled as most of them work perfectly well on the same track .Would very much appreciate some advice .
