For anyone interested the pantographs arrived and they screw on to the pantograph fixing unit fairly easily, you just need a small enough screw (I used a couple from an old mobile phone) Looks good I think! /media/tinymce_upload/6fba73a8061164057cdc98f6581dcc27.jpg

Hello did you ever print this? Would be interested if you were willing to sell one! Perhaps when the new Hornby APT comes out I'll buy a spare pantograph and adapt it (as best as possible) to fit my power car. Or maybe the arrival of the new APT will reduce demand / cause those silly money prices for the existing old pantographs to fall (fingers crossed) Am even tempted to see if I can make one out of wire and old Airfix parts I have (have a bag of spares including unused undercarriage that could do the job) but would take long time and would likely be fixed into an open or closed position

Pleased to say my loco arrived today, what a beauty it is. My own worry was that there might be something wrong with the intricate livery (had to send my first Hatton's Bluebell back as it had a smudge, which they replaced no problem), but this loco is perfect. Not able to test it on a track until next weekend but sure it runs fine. Overall I stand by my wish that Hornby had communicated to us all properly about the ongoing delay, but that aside I'm very happy with the loco. Hope everyone gets their's in the coming days. Looking forward to getting my Stepney next! @Jimyjames we got it eventually! Look forward to your video!

I emailed them at the start of the month and they replied saying that they were 'relieably informed that it is scheduled to come in to stock to us later this month' so fingers crossed I guessed!

Spoke to a very helpful person at the Hornby stand today who said these are on the ship on the way here and could be with us in April after all. So good news. Maybe that 13 April date is correct after all!

I do! Respect those who say "it'll come when it comes" but there are others who would just like them to provide a bit more information as to why there is a continued delay. 😢

I wrote a (polite!) email to Hornby to ask if they had any extra information on the delay and they said they'd investigate and let me know - will report back what they say

I don't want to upset you to much, but this site says April 2019. As has been said very many times, it will arrive when it arrives. Yeah just seen that...was still saying February yesterday. It's annoying and would prefer if they gave a short update.

Annoyingly according to the advert in the latest club magazine, it's now expected in March, yet another delay... 😢
