Hi all anyone changed a ringfield motor to the motor I’ve seen on eBay brushless I think. .? or converted drive in the tender to x04 motor in the loco if so can anyone post a diagram of how to install it.

Hi there loco ran fine on DC layout (still using same layout) decoder fitted is the R8249.hope this helps Dave

Hi there, hope someone can help. I have changed a few locos from DC to DCC with no problems, After changing the Duchess of abercon to DCC.The loco now runs like a bag of nails locomotive just serviced and new brushes fitted and oiled.I.E. runs slow,jerky around the track sometimes needs a little push to start. cheers Dave
