I would have to say no, unfortunately. And with the new amount of flying hours on kits (the new 1/48 Chipmunk only has 1 flying hour on it) it will be impossible for members to save enough hours to get anything other than a series 1 kit. I thought the "new" club was going to be better value for money and with more for us members, according to what Airfix put out anyway, but unless they are going to dramatically reduce the number of flying hours needed for kits then it seems to have gone the wrong way. Sorry Airfix but I cannot see me renewing my membership based on what I have seen so far.
