  1. Hi Lads, I am trying to get to Railmaster support. The last Email I sent over a week ago and haven't had a reply. The address I was given is. XxxxxxxxxxxxxxxX Just wanted to know whether this is the correct address. Regards, Ralphy5 Mod note - posting personal information is against guidelines - that email address redacted - see also my reply to your post.
  2. Thankfully I know the addresses and will now use the back up which I didn’t do Thank you so much for your support I am so grateful for your help best regards Ralphy5
  3. Hi Lads, My computer which I was using for Railmaster Hard disk crashed. I have had my key codes reset and reinstalled Railmaster and Railmaster Pro. I have completed my track plan with points. My problem is how do I program each decoder set without actually connecting the accessory decoder ( R8247 ) I have 6 decoders wired to my layout. Or do I have to physically remove each decoder and reprogram it? Thank you all for your help Regards, Ralphy5
  4. Hi Colin I have just purchased the R7141 rebuilt Merchant Navy TTS decoder do you know if there is room in the tender for the speaker or do I need to get the Dremal out to fit the speaker? Ralphy
  5. The Sapphire decoder I have used in a few of my locos and turntable. Have had no problems in 3 years so far. seems dumb to have just 1 run of them expensive but I think was worth the money, they are a great decoder allowing changing CVs easily
  6. Thank you for that info I'll try out the R7141 I also found in my box of spares a few new Saphire decoders which could be used as a backup with their 21-pin plug. I will let you know how things go Regards Ralphy5
  7. Thank you so much for the info I'll try a 21 to 8-pin adapter and the A1/A3 Hornby sound decoder. Will let you know the outcome.
  8. Hi Lads, I have been able to purchase this wonderful Loco for around the same price as Hornby was selling it for. I am so sad that some people are selling it for 5 times the price and as such destroying our hobby. I would love to know how they got 10 or 15 of them when many of us missed out on trying our luck with just one!!!! In any case, I want to turn it into a DCC with sound Loco. Has anyone done this and if so what 21-pin decoder was used that will work with Hornby Elite or ELink? Also is there enough room in the tender for the speaker or does it require modifications? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Kindest regards Ralphy5
  9. Hi guys, I'm back from the dead, a survivor of COVID 19! (Spent 3 weeks in ISO) Now I am at home in isolation and have finally completed laying my track. Unfortunately, I found my Reverse Loop accessory didn't work and after many hours of troubleshooting found it broken. No one here in Australia can fix it and I didn't think it was worth the money or time sending it back to Hornby, so I used my power booster for the purpose with the inbuilt reverse loop function, an overkill I know but it works. I would really like to thank you for all of your help in setting up my plan with the many reverse loops. Now I would like to use my elite for the operations of my engines and use rail master through the E link for my points lights uncouplers etc. I have 24 points and 6 uncouplers I want to run using the E Link as the controller through rail master, So my question is: Do I plug in my elite to my computer and then use the E Link with Rail Master to program the points and uncouplers. Then after using the program outlets on the E Link, change to the track outlets of the E link and use Railmaster with my touch screen or mouse to change the points. In other words, I don't use any part of my existing track for power, only using the Elink as a separate source of power. Again thank you guys for your help, Ralphy
  10. thankyou so much for the info kind regards ralphy
  11. Hello Gentleman, I want to use my Power Booster which I got for Christmas. My thoughts are: 1/ Run a new set of wires around my layout and use these solely for all my accessories. E.g. Points, Lights, etc. 2/ Use my Elite which is connect to my E Link solely for all my Train Engines. I have attached the copy out of the manual for this connection. Is my amended one correct? Thank you guys in advance for your advice. Ralphy5 (From Down Under)/media/tinymce_upload/a91a0897672413f013769744fbf03633.jpg
  12. Good Morning Gentleman, I have added two more loops to my setup and isolated each loop with plastic fish plates. These are labeled E F G H. In reference to Chrissaf’s original RML fix (attached), my layout now has 2 more loop tracks added. I have isolated all loops with isolated fishplates shown as ABCDEFGH. I need help working out if, and if so, where I put the new Reverse loop module/module’s/media/tinymce_upload/a21aee6e0c927740159ecbec52950357.jpg. Can I add these to my existing RLM, or do I need to purchase another one or two RML’s. Thank you guys in advance for your thoughts. Ralphy5
