No box but the support carriage is in the set of loco and carriages sent to me, guess I will have to deploy my trusty solder gun again :)

I am trying to verify (before opening it up) which Duchess of Sutherland I have, it is loco driven with a moving pony truck and I want to be able to convert it to DCC. It is from the Marks and Spencer Royal Train set if that helps to narrow it down! So my questions are: Is it DCC ready? If so where is the plug (tender or body) Is it easy to convert Tender to take DCC sound if the plug is in body seeing as there is never space for speakers on the body!

The collectors club section seems to have vanished and been replaced by an advert for the collectors club, any idea when it will be back?

They were limited editions I believe, I have pre-ordered one via my chosen supplier, I know he is with Hornby this week for retailers get together so not heard yet if I ordered in time or not.

I did try posting a link that linked to the picture Hornby uses of the 7 car set but its not approved but later pictures are?Anyway in the 7 car pack is 2 Non Driving Motors and the APT-U to model the APT-Developmental set that ran as part of testing for the MKIV plans

From information I have seen elsewhere its based on the formation in the image below: normal 5 car set plus additional Non Driving Motor car and a APT-U non articulated coach

Does anyone know what the 7 car pack contains as I cannot see a listing anywhere, I would guess the core modules of DTSTBFNDMTBFDTSnot sure which of the following options it is but if someone knows can they please say so I dont over orderTSTRSBTUTF Thanks all

I have joined the Hornby Collectors Club and my card arrived today along with a letter saying that I have the opportunity to obtain an exclusive Club model (namely the Bluebell Railway SECR R3648 model for £99.99. How is it exclusive if its being listed as available for pre-orders on various retailer websites for exactly the same price? Do we actually get any collector club only exclusive models or are we only getting the benefit of the free loco and the magazines a year?
