I received my copy of Spencer Pollard's Sea Fury book on Tuesday and following his comments on moulding defects, I checked the sprues on my boxing on Wednesday morning and sure enough mine had the same problems. I emailed Airfix at 11:30 requesting replacements and the have just been handed to me by my postman at 10:25, less than 24 hours later. I can only describe this as outstanding customer service. If I had a cap I would doff it! Well played Airfix.
