I did suggest this in an earlier thread. Look at Heller who are getting a lot of mileage (kilometre age?) out of a Renault 4 kit to 1:24 scale! I think a Morris Minor in various versions would be a great idea.

I built an early one in, I reckon around 1978. It was superb - such things as aluminium finished as well as plated parts. It even had a motorisation option and such things as working steering. I later dropped it on the floor... Looking at recent prices made me wince!

Please Hornby tell us - is there any prospect please? Quite a few requests for the dear old Maxi, but hardly any for yet another reissue of some of the vintage stuff like the 1912 Rolls Royce and 1930 Bentley you seem to be hinting at...
