This evening I've spent an hour or so stocktaking the Humbrol tinlet stash, all enamel, haven't quite got to grips with acrylic yet, I still have nightmares remembering the dodgy goo given away in starter sets?? I have 121 original colours from the range and 96 duplicates of which includes: 4X 114 matt Russian Green (not sure why?) 5X 188 Chrome Yellow (no idea why I have this many?) 6X 165 Sea Grey Medium (common RAF colour, makes sense) 7X 27 matt Sea Grey (again, don't know why? I bought a rattle can of the stuff to paint my R7 Soyuz boost stage?) I have 3X of the more common RAF colours too a further 58 Humbrol Authentics and 34 bespoke mixes, I make that 307 tinlets!! Thats just Humbrol, not counting Revell, Xtracolor and Molak. Although thier numbers are a modest figure by comparison!! Does this amount seem excessive? I have been collecting them for 30 odd years?? . . . Dave Leeman (who has enough paint to take on the Forth Bridge!) (in 1/72 naturally!) Ha!
