Many thanks for the replies the problem I have is the my other two older counties from Hornby are a much darker green so as you say out with the air gun and weathering colours. Regarding the fall plate I have made them in the past but not as good as Hornbys pity one wasnt included. But then again thats just my view.

Just received the new County 4-6-0 in the Rail Road range and have a couple of questions; Compared to the earlier Countys the colour seems far too light? There isnt a fall? plate between the tender and loco. I realise its in the Railroad range but shouldnt the colour be correct? and the lack of plate between loco and tender makes such a difference to this model. Hopefully the fall plate will be available as an accessory but the colour?
