  1. Thanks very much for your help, I have found the SS155 but now confusion reigns so will have to wait until I`m home to check out which one is correct.
  2. It is the one you describe but I can`t find the service sheet to confirm. SS 277B looks very familiar.
  3. Happy Christmas everyone. Have any of you added a decoder to the GWR 2800 please? Would really be helpful if there is any info available to wire this one please.
  4. Thanks for your time and a simple answer, plan B coming up!
  5. There was me hoping for a simple answer! It`s a Hornby R2768 GWR Diesel Electric Parcels RAILCAR `34` Thought it might be a good one for sound just by way of a nice empty space.
  6. I have just bought the DCC ready Diesel Electric rail car and wonder if any of the current Hornby TTS decoders would work with it. I don`t really fancy going down the much more expensive Loksound route. Thanks
  7. Hi all, just finished nailing all the track down and I have had a point fail. The link bar has come off so the rails wander about. This particular point is halfway round a 3 track layout and is where all 3 tracks link. I really dont want to pull up half the rails to replace this set of points. Can I slide the fishplates up the rails to give me room to lift the points?
  8. Hi everyone Have decided to use point motors instead of the physical walk around and set points accordingly. I have used Peco PL 11 point motors on Peco track and they are 100%. On this layout I have Hornby track and want to use the Peco PL 11`s (they look decent and fit my layout). The problem I am having is that despite working properly the point motor operating arm disconnects from the rather short pin on the Hornby point. I`m just starting this project and have onle worked with one of my 13 points. I`m contemplating a blob of adhesive on the arm/pin assembly but if anyone has a more suitable idea I would welcome it. Kind regards Cedric
