I have bought a new 37 but only after unboxing it have realise it has no couplings fitted! I ordered a packet of tension lock couplings but have no clue how to install them. Does anyone know of a guide that can help me?

see i suspected it was nose first because it has the "big brother" shape to an 08.

i'll take that as a conclusion lol. i suppose all deisels can go either way it doesnt matter like you said. but i had my suspicion it ran with the cab at the back since i personally always saw them as the "big brother" to 08's due to that similar shape. anyone else see what i mean?

Stupid trivia hour. i was pondering to myself while watching it go round and realised i have no idea which end is the front on a class 20?

as someone who looked into this in the UK (eternal rain), i experimented with a small basic circle track. i will say IT DOES WORK but take into consideration the massive amount of maintenance. clean the track often using wet and dry but even then the connection isnt great. dont fasten the tracks together too tightly to avoid buckling on hot days, i did not experiment with points but i imagine they will need a lot of attention to stay functioning. creatures will make a home out of anything they can get inside so be weary about tunnels and sheds. last and most obviously, keep the power supply dry. so overall, it can be done but is high maintenance. i never went through with it since i decided to do some DIY on the loft instead but i know an outdoor layout is tough for OO. maybe scale up to make life easier. but best of luck.

hi, i am expanding my fleet but dont have great knowledge on wagon names so its hard to search for the ones i want. does anyone know what kind of wagons these are? i know the tanker is a 45 tonner but thats about it. tthanks
