  1. Hi If I select F1 to activate the TTS sound while the locomotive is stationary all lights etc function correctly but it will not move until F1 is toggled off again. If F1 is selected whilst moving there is no sound but loco continues to respond to dcc handset until it is brought to a stand. I have tested the speaker in a different loco and it works perfectly. I have tried the TTS chip in 3 different locos with the same result. I have tried a CV 8 sound reset by entering 5 and a full reset by entering 8. I am able to write loco ID etc to the chip. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Thanks again Chris, I have placed an order and will update again when I have made the necessary connections. Cheers
  3. Hi Chris Thanks for your efforts and information. I will now try to find a suitable supplier of the item in small units, RS only seem to do packets of 50. Cheers
  4. Further to my post yesterday I am diing two pictures of the board and socket with a ruler for size. The sockets have 8 pins and are 13mm wine. Pins are evenly spaced across the socket. Thanks /media/tinymce_upload/8395e167a1f1eedd2302dcb6b5b412e5.JPG/media/tinymce_upload/60cc828ed82f1ff4ddd9ac2dc2e83491.JPG
  5. After years of non availabilty a new Class 50 main PCB has appeared but with moulded socket connectors at each end replacing the push fit tabs used before. Hornby cant provide a plug to connect to this or even a part number. Does anyone have any ideas on sourcing a connector. The 4 VEP plug doesn't fit as its smaller.
