  1. An Auscision Models 421 class Diesel Electric; 42106 in particular. My first purchased locomotive and runs fantastically when I test sections of the layout. It was fitted with a LokPilot chip.
  2. Some Peco medium radius left and right hand points as well as a three way point which will be used in the carriage sidings.
  3. When the people at my local store cut my pine, he did about 6 at once. There is a clamp that compresses on the wood then this massive blade that came up and cut it. Overall, quite impressed with that, it was a clean cut too (and free 😉).
  4. @Caiptean It would be ideal. Far better for the environment as well - we should be concious of these things. Hard copies are always nice but in my opinion, a catalouge is only relevent per anum and wouldn't be of what you'd expect in a modelling book - say the "Hornby Book of Model Railways" which is relevent for a life time. CL
  5. Some good quality pine timber picked up from the local DIY store. This was pre - cut for me, so I know the legnths are exact and I would be able to fit it in a car. This will be used to make the baseboard frames using the glue and screw technique (3mm drill bit with No. 8 screw). There will be 5 frames so the baseboard is modular, in case I ever have to move it. Plywood will be used on the top and will probabily be picked up next week.
  6. @Jacob Yes, I think so. @LC Great lot of info there. Thanks, may come in handy.
  7. Yes, it was in BR Green on a heritage run. I've also seen it haul some New South Wales N type carriage stock, when it went to Australia, of course. 😆 It also double headed with NSW locomotive 3801, which is NSW's Flying Scotsman (famous loco, but not as famous as the Flying Scotsman, of course). CL
  8. I also saw the Flying Scotsman on TV hauling some blood and custards.
  9. I go through torture through every maths lesson. Not torture of 'I don't understand sir', torture of 'What?! Revision AGAIN sir?' as well as torture of boredom.
  10. Nope. 60-65 or above. And I'm the only one in my class that is learning Python (programing language).
  11. Look, I won't say my age but I will tell you that I am younger than Jacob Wilson. I am the only one in my grade that's interested in trains and my friends think I'm mad... "What's so interesting about trains anyway??" That sentence rings in my head for a substantial amount of time. In class, we say a sentence we made out loud. My sentence is always about trains (Real or made up). It's a shame that there isn't many young people here but I'm glad that all you old people can use a computer and forum because I know plenty of people you age who won't touch any forms of technology. Good on you.
  12. 6 x R8244 uncoupling ramps 1 x R6763 Departmental ZBA (Rudd) Wagon - This is a fantastic purchase.
