I have just aquired an old triang/hornby smoke unit at a local train fair. To describe it, A tube aprox 24mm long tapering from 5mm to aprox 4mmwith a lip at the top. The puzzle is that it only has 1 wire at the bottom,. logic tells me that the other contact must be via the outer casing. Any information on it and how to get it to work would be most welcome I have found out it is 12v. Thanks Folks 00/009

I recently aquired a (dare I say it) Bachmann class 24 from a well known auction site. It came equiped with a "Digitrax" decoder, ran perfectly. I decided to add sound, so bought a cl31 tts decoder, I know but it sounded good to me. It has resulted with jerky slow running and a noisey motor. Any ideas greatfully recived. Thanks Guys
