  1. It says on the benefits page that the entire range is DCC ready.
  2. I think TT120 is more reminiscent of VHS than Betamax on the benefits page it says the entire range is DCC ready and is compatible with US and European stock. So it seems more compatible.
  3. Great pictures nice to see the close coupling
  4. I would like to see GWR Goliath 5239 and more great western stuff.
  5. I wonder if the locomotives come in a jeweled box like in N gauge or will they come in the ice block like their OO locomotives. Also just for fun not serious, what is the correct pronunciation for TT1/120, would it be like ‘tea tea gauge/scale’ or ‘double TT’ or just ‘Table Top’? just a thought
  6. Done it now. I’ve pre-ordered the easterner train set and track packs 2, 3, 4 and 5 looks like you get track pack 1 with the train set it says in the brochure not 100% sure but can be changed if Not. Also the discount worked for me not sure if they fixed it or it’s different for some others. I’m so excited this like being a pioneer of TT gauge. I have literally dreamt about this years ago a hornby train set I can fit on a table. So thank you Hornby for making my dreams come true. ps looks some of the locos are considerably cheaper than OO and even N gauge I did a camparison roughly with the class 8 and some steam locomotives.
  7. I must say this is very tempting as if was aimed at me. Which I gave up on model railways a few years back just by chance I looked at the Hornby website I always get the email news. I gave up due to space and expense being indecisive about scales but this might work I have the ideal table as the table was too small for the bigger layout. now I got my finances in order and 15% discount if you join the TT club which is free sounds like a good deal the locomotives are not as cheap as one would like but cheaper I need to be careful this time and choose just one locomotive. think I just stay at this scale but wish there was more Great Western stuff. im very impressed with the selection. I might just join the club for now.
  8. I saw it it was very interesting the way they engineer things isn’t it
  9. I have required the Gloucester City Pullman train set. The locomotive is well detailed for a supposedly railroad model and 2 of the coaches have names on them. Also it was a quick delivery so kudos to Hornby I'm very impressed. I have also bought some other stuff a decoder and a digitrack so I can turn it into DCC.
  10. @ 2e0dtoeric It's the railway equivalent to a caravan :-) Anyway I was just testing my 2nd raduis curves its all i got room for at the moment.

  12. /media/tinymce_upload/a77eab781dfef4cea9d02007142049dd.JPG I got these in the sale apart from the Camping Coach. Good quality stuff I got them because of Simon Kohler's Blog and I've always liked Skaledale. Delivered today without Delay 10/10 would Skaledale again :-D Here's a photo not a great shot but the best one I've took
  13. /media/tinymce_upload/0041.JPG I could only take a few good pictures on good one of the cab though.
  14. I just received my J15 a gorgeous loco and two private wagons 'Coltness' and 'J.James & Co' and a decoder of course. I'm gonna try and put some pictures on here after I finished work.
