  1. I wonder if the locomotives come in a jeweled box like in N gauge or will they come in the ice block like their OO locomotives.

Also just for fun not serious, what is the correct pronunciation for TT1/120, would it be like ‘tea tea gauge/scale’ or ‘double TT’ or just ‘Table Top’?

    just a thought

  2. Done it now. I’ve pre-ordered the easterner train set and track packs 2, 3, 4 and 5 looks like you get track pack 1 with the train set it says in the brochure not 100% sure but can be changed if Not.

Also the discount worked for me not sure if they fixed it or it’s different for some others.

I’m so excited this like being a pioneer of TT gauge. I have literally dreamt about this years ago a hornby train set I can fit on a table. So thank you Hornby for making my dreams come true.

ps looks some of the locos are considerably cheaper than OO and even N gauge I did a camparison roughly with the class 8 and some steam locomotives.

  3. I must say this is very tempting as if was aimed at me. Which I gave up on model railways a few years back just by chance I looked at the Hornby website I always get the email news.

I gave up due to space and expense being indecisive about scales but this might work I have the ideal table as the table was too small for the bigger layout.

now I got my finances in order and 15% discount if you join the TT club which is free sounds like a good deal the locomotives are not as cheap as one would like but cheaper I need to be careful this time and choose just one locomotive.

think I just stay at this scale but wish there was more Great Western stuff.

im very impressed with the selection. I might just join the club for now.

  4. Hi all

I got the Somerset Belle digital train set. The loco looks good anda very well  detailed milk tank with NEM couplings. Need to set it up now. I just come back from N gauge which I was in love with but the detailing and fiddley brake pipes is just a bit too small for my eyes.

Any I would of got an e-link train set but I have no laptop so I got this instead.

I like all the literature you get with these trainsets.
