Paws, I wouldn't bother masking winglights either! The questionable part is the curve of the yellow leading edge band leading up to the wing lights. Tough to mask, and yellow is tough to brush-paint.

At this stage of your build, I would apply the decals as best you can, plan on doing some touch up with yellow paint if needed. The difficult part will be near the wing lights. Masking at this point to paint them, in my opinion, is more difficult than applying the decals. Take a deep breath and go for it!
