evening all........have today taken delivery of a "new" VI Trains Class 47..........the one named after one of my rock and roll heroes.........a certain Joe Strummer................and it looks a beauty

evening all...my pal and i went to warley on train from chester on the saturday.....much easier and less stressful than the car.........we have been going later each time, and it does seem to make a difference, as the crowds have thinned, or are sitting down......as with any event of size, food and drink inside is always expensive...we took sandwiches and bought cold drinks inside.....yes some people do think that the show is put on for thier exclusive benefit, and wont wait or barge thru ,,.........you know who you are......non of the forum members, obviously.......struck this time by the fact that i can now barely remember a layout that took my eye......and it was good to see all of the varied traders and seeing the wide variety of ways to spend our hard earned

hi WTD...my old B17s run fine, so am expecting great things from the new model.......are u analogue or DCC...if the latter which decoder did u use....? cheers.....

evening all...... ok, could not resist the B17 61662 weathered on offer from the mag.......wanted to be able to compare it to the old model(s) but it aint DCC fitted so have yet to take it out of the box.........................might just have to buy another one............just in case..........

morning all....remember the film and plot....cant recall the rolling stock though....from the posts so far, it sounds as though H have put together a box of bits, with models made from exisiting tooling.......bit of marketing, and hey...bandwagon starting to roll.......its certainly not for me.......each to his own though..

Hi Mathew.....i cant answer your query, but those on here who will be able to help, will probably need a little more to go on, things like catalogue number and type/name of the train you want to update...best of luck...
