  1. @ JimyJames. Ok, understandable, but you did renew ages ago, so I would have thought there was time to send your badge, card etc before it all went wrong. At least I can stop expecting the loco for the time being then. Yes, thanks for asking about my one 😉 😀
  2. @ jimyjames That's good (well not really) you haven't got the locomotive either. But I did receive the letter, badge and card early March, after renewing early January, along with a separate letter to renew 🤐 And like you, I have noticed that some members got their loco January/February. I did get an email ages ago from Hornby saying the loco's were coming in and being sent out in March. So far no luck for us two then 🤔
  3. I also received 2 copies 😆 After a few days of not hearing anything about it, I gave 1 to my son. I hope they don't want it back now. Still haven't received the club loco though 😢
  4. I renewed in January, the payment went through straight away and was marked as dispatched on my hornby account the same day. Then in February I received a renewal letter, so I emailed to say I had renewed and the membership pack hadn't arrived, and they said they were waiting for the badges to come in. Today I received the membership pack and also in a separate envelope, another renewal letter! 😆 😆 🤔
  5. Hi TrainLover16, when you pre-order something your payment will not be taken until the item comes in stock. So the answer to your question is, yes you can cancel the pre-order, but before the item comes in stock. Hope this helps 😀
  6. Yes I agree that would be a good thing to send them out to those who have waited the longest first. Like first come first served. But if you was to join again there doesn't seem much point in ordering straight away if they are still taking orders months later 🤔
  7. I ordered the loco this afternoon and on the order form/receipt it said expected delivery 13th of April. Not sure if this means expected delivery to Hornby or me. But at least I don't have to wait as long as you guy's, like nearly a year 😮 😳
  8. I suppose they are leaving them on until the very last minute of this current years membership. There might be a very certain day of this month when it changes over? But who would join the club last week and then rejoin in a couple of weeks time? 😆 😆
  9. No, haven't missed an issue. Not a prob exactly but would save time looking at the webpage waiting for the change of loco 😆
  10. I've had the last issue but it didn't come with a reminder. I kind of expected it to because clubs sometimes do. I think it would give a bit of a personal touch, but never mind 😀 It's a good job my membership card resides in the display cabinet, so there's no chance of losing it, otherwise I'd be wondering now when exactly I joined 🤔
  11. My membership card says 24th of February. I wonder if they might write to existing members to rejoin or whether we have to keep an eye on the WEBSITE and join up with everybody else? 🤔 😀
  12. I have received my free club loco and I 'm very pleased with it 😀 So thank you Hornby!! I can't believe that there are quite a few of these locomotives on eBay already 😮
