I purchased the DCC fitted Prarie and plan to install the TTS Hall sound decoder. Took the body off the chassis the fitted DCC decoder sits in a U shaped cradle at the front under the smoke box. The supplied speaker is tool large but I have smaller ones to fit. I reassembled the loco putting aside the job for hopefully next week

Already purchased a TTS Decoder in case they are in short supply when the loco arrives

I received mine today, it is not marked DCC ready on the box, looking at the instructions there is not a DCC socket shown. It sayes for DCC consult your dealer so suspect a DCC decoder would have to be hard wired.

I noted in the Hornby new range announcements there are no new TTS decoders, also the range of fitted engines is limited, for example there are only two diesels, I understand that the decoders are a good market.
