  1. Well this can officially be binned with the cracking announcement by Accurascale today. At last Western modellers can have something for their parcels trains with tooling not dating back to the 1970s.
  2. An update to this thread to say I've received a replacement from the Hornby customer care department.

  4. Yes, it's an assembly error as it seems the whole batch is missing them. The one you mention on the Hatton's site is from the original run from over ten years ago.
  5. It seems the recently released Hornby Gresley full brake coach in teak coach [R4830] is missing the guards ducket. Looking elsewhere on the web it appears that this effects the whole batch of these. What does Hornby usually do in circumstances like this. Replacements won't be forthcoming from China.
  6. 81F said: I would like to see the old LIMA GWR siphon G re released, but possibly on a new underframe either using the old Airfix GWR bogies or the new Hawkesworth ones. This would be a very nice model as the lima body diesn't look too bad. The only drawback with the original was the BR Mark 1 Bogies with their moulded plastic couplings. Me too but don't hold your breath. The recent release of the old Airfix one was a waste of time and overpriced. We need a 21st century one not 70s mouldings I'm afraid.Look at the Southern van c so it can be done.
