Just been looking at the “Spark Plug” and the idea of a controller app on the phone and thinking about pace cars. “Fixed throttle” pace cars are a bit rubbish - too slow on the fast bits and too fast, therefore crashing on the slow bits. All it takes in a circuit is an R1 curve for 90 degrees and a pace car doesn’t really work. The old Pacer system back in the late 1990s provided a programmable throttle in effect, which was great. Even if the powerbase app can’t do it (surely there must be a way?), the dongle and its associated “phone throttle” could. All it needs is for the phone to record throttle use for 2-3 laps and just play back that pattern? If it can shuffle a 50 song playlist and Bluetooth it to a speaker, there must be a way?
