  1. Very Nicely done T ! The underside weathering/dirtying looks great, along with the addition of the hook. That's a tiny kit - which makes your artistry that much more impressive. Bravo ! Chris
  2. Merry Christmas to you Paul. And to all ! Chris
  3. Yikes ! Those motors are smaller than I thought !
  4. Creative idea Tomek ! Nicely done. Chris
  5. Sweet ! Be sure to let us know how it goes - and post pics ! Chris
  6. In the Jan 2003 issue of Finescale modeler magazine there was a how-to article about this subject. Motorizing a 1/72 scale mediterranean Spitfire. I think they used an older style rotary motor that was the source of vibration in older cell phones. Not sure if those are used in phones any more. But the motors might still be available. I think they were a little smaller than a AAA battery. Chris
  7. Bish, WOW ! That is a really nice display. Great kit, great builds, super finishing, all wrapped up in another vignette that adds even more interest. Inspiring ! And it's nice to see it all come together as you post progress shots - thanks. Chris
  8. Very nice vignette Bish ! The weathering, the weapon loader, the remove b4 flight tags . . . All add lot of interest. Grey aircraft don't have to be boring ! Nicely done. Chris
  9. Bravo ! Congratulations to Tomas on a very fine job. Your son is already an accomplished modeller ! Chris
  10. Hello Paolo, I like the subtle panel line work and the paint chipping on the Kate. Very nicely done. Chris
  11. Very nice Harrier Bish. Nice weathering ! And I look forward to seeing the finished presentation. Always inspiring to see your work. I used to frequent another forum where I participated in a number of GB's that you hosted. (AKA Bossman). But it's been a few years. Chris
  12. Awesome T ! Very nice job - Doesn't look like a Penguin any more - but it still looks like it's in formal dress. Pretty ! Chris
  13. That's very nice Jeff ! What a nice finish. And I agree - the rigging was worth the extra effort. Very impressive ! Chris
  14. That's very nice Jeff ! What a nice finish. And I agree - the rigging was worth the extra effort. Very impressive ! Chris
  15. Nicely done Peter ! And nicely photographed as well. One suggestion for correcting silvering after-the-fact. I have had some success brush painting thinned down acrylics on top of the decal with a very fine brush. In some cases I was able to mask the silvering completely, and in other cases I have at least been able to make it less noticable. Chris
