  1. That is exactly what I'm looking for. Tidy piece of kit that. However, not sure what you mean about the crimp terminals. Can I not put one end of the cables in the power track terminals and the other end in the program terminals on the Elite?. Not that au fait with the electrical side of things. Thanks again.
  2. Hi all. Just a quick question on making a stand alone programming track in conjunction with my Elite. To make it simple I have considered using a wood plinth long enough to take two straight track pieces, one of these being a digital power track to connect to. Would this work with some table lamp wire?. Cheers.
  3. Hi all. Just need a piece of advice on the programming facility on the Elite. Need to set up a small piece of track to test two dcc locos I have recently purchased second hand. I have a digital track piece which I have never used which will be ok for one piece. Lots of wire available to me without buying anything special. What would you recommend to use as a stop gap facility. The thin lamp wire has been suggested at 5 amp capability. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers. Ps Have not set up my bus or droppers yet!!.

    Decoder

Hi All. Considering buying the Hornby R9289 which is the Edward model from the Thomas collection. The model is advertised as dcc ready. Anyone know a suitable decoder and if the fitting is relatively straightforward?. Cheers.
