  1. It can be wider...Im mainly worried about reach. Anything over 3 ft is a stretch as its on a wall and will only have access from one side.
  2. Good Morning All, I thinking of creating a layout 18x3 but ideally would like it to be a continous run/loop? Anyone have any ideas how I could creat a loop/continuous loop on a 3ft wide board?
  3. So my boards are going to be 6ftx2.5ft So going to use a 12mm hardwood ply top, with 18mm x 44mm timber. with 4 study legs. Do you think the timber dimensions is adequite?
  4. Would mdf be ok for a room in the house? Plus I'm planning to glue the track not pin it.
  5. Hi All, About the build 4 x 6x2 baseboards, going to use a 3x1 timber frame and 12mm ply, question is though, why not mdf and what is recommended soft or hard plywood?? Thanks Carl
  6. Thanks All, Excatly what I was looking for. Thank you.
  7. Hi All, Been searching for a while as I have lost the NEM sockets for the Hornby Class 60 DCC I own. Can anypoint point me at what I am looking for please. Looked all over the Hornby website. Carl
  8. So I have around 10 locos, 4 are dcc and 6 are DC. They don't run together. But I'm looking for a dc controller to use for the 6 locos. Any suggestion for my requirements?
  9. Hi All, Can you tell me if this would be powerfull enough to run 4 trains on 4 sperate tracks wired up together on a 9x9 baseboard please?
  10. Hi there, so with my layout I have a dcc feed for the main lines and one dcc feed for the sidings. Issue I have is I would like to get a connector that converts 4 wires to 2 so that I can connect 2 wires to the controllers instead of 4. Any ideas what that would be?
  11. Something like this might work?
  12. Not a problem if you are running DCC! It is a DCC Layout yes.
  13. I having issues working this out in anyrail. can you give me a few pointers roughly how it would work?
  14. Hi there, Looking for some input on Point locations. If you look at the below picture I have set out two possible layouts that I could do, I liking the left option as it would give locos the chance to go from the fair right side of the track to the innner side without having to go round again and again....What do you all think? /media/tinymce_upload/af6e082f03a4ff735b0caac92e4be5cd.png Carl
