  1. Hi there, so with my layout I have a dcc feed for the main lines and one dcc feed for the sidings. Issue I have is I would like to get a connector that converts 4 wires to 2 so that I can connect 2 wires to the controllers instead of 4. Any ideas what that would be?

  2. How about the one on the left with two double slips instead of the four central sets of points?

You can come from right to left in half the distance.

I having issues working this out in anyrail. can you give me a few pointers roughly how it would work?

  3. Hi there,

Looking for some input on Point locations. If you look at the below picture I have set out two possible layouts that I could do,  I liking the left option as it would give locos the chance to go from the fair right side of the track to the innner side without having to go round again and again....What do you all think?

  4. So im going to bite the bullet if you like and instead of using fishplate droppers going to solder drop wires directly to the underside of the rail. It seems pretty straight forward. Except one thing I'm really not sure on....The soldering iron temp? Any thoughts?

  5. Evening All,

Laying the track down for the first qtr of the layout and wanted to back sure that you think where I am putting my drop cables to my main bus are enough. I will be using fishplates with drop cables soldered to them. Any question please ask. Fishplate locations are marked with red line.

  6. Evening All,

Im now looking for inspiration, I have looked at my layout for a while now, and is it be or is it very basic/boring? Any thoughts to spice it up a bit, the board is made, its 9x9 with a 3x3 hole in the middle, I have full access to all sides so reaching inst a issue. Any thoughts ideas would be helpful,

  7. Afternoon all,

I can reach all corners well as there is a gap around the table for full access. I have made some amendments. I did try and move the 5 sidings vertically up but i couldnt get the curverture correct on anyrail so the track wasnt spaced correctly. Would be ideal though.
