I know it’s only august, but my Christmas wagon just showed up, and I have a question for anyone else that buys one every year, what are you using to pull them around your tree ( assuming that’s where you run them) I bought the Christmas set a few years back and have been adding a Christmas wagon yearly, the year before last the little loco was struggling, but still was able to pull them all, last year was a no go, had to step up to a jinty that I had laying around ( at least it was green) so what are you using???? thanks in advance Darren

This just showed up In the post today……..

The synchro smoke does indeed work, when looking down the chimney all you see is a tiny hole, but once body is off, you can see the price with tiny hole simply pops off the top allowing you to add oil, on my other synchro smoke loco you are able to add through the chimney as the hole is in a recessed area in the smoke unit.. and the top of that one doesn't pop off

Just got a couple.of battle space pieces.. I am no where near ordering landscape stuff like those kiosks, I'm still trying to figure out where to build my layout... but I am always on ebay and hattons, looking for deals. I now have tons of track, all sorts of trains, but nowhere to set it up... even scored a 5x10 sheet of plywood from one of my subs at a jobsite.. so after all that rambling I guess a piece of wood is my latest acquisition..

Yes I went through each one, cleaned and lubed, I had one non runner, (the blue class 25 diesel) found the magnet around the ringfield motor was broken in 3 places, so I did the cd motor conversion.. also the stephensons rocket I bought was also a non runner, it had a broken wire at the resistor on the chimney. I like to tinker with stuff, so I have a good grip on what to do with stuff like this.. On a side note, I would like to start collecting the Christmas wagons ( moving forward as past year ones are priced ridiculously on evilbay) does anyone know about what time of year they get released? I also just won an auction for a few more freight wagons in the same theme as in the pic above, also found a source for the 2018 Christmas wagon, so that's coming too.. ;)

And a bunch of shirt freight cars (hornby) I went online and added to it with An Intercity 125 and 4 coaches (hornby) And a stephensons rocket with 5 coaches (triang) Now I just need to bolt something to run them on... :)
