  1. I have lost the cover which helps secure the coupler at one end to the wagon. The other end is complete. Does anyone know if the cover has a part number, I suspect it does not. Or perhaps there is a company which would make them especially in this age of 3d printers. Thank you Dennis Sharp
  2. On my test track I have one set of Hornby R8074 left hand curved points, some of my 0-6-0 locos and some older models when travelling over the points hesitate or even stop. The R8074 points in the latest catalogue at £25.30 looks different than my I suspect older model. Does anyone know if the newer version would get rid of the hesitating or even stopping. The insulated part looks smaller.
  3. Thank you to the people who gave me some advice.
  4. I purchased off a well known site a 2004 version Princess Elizabeth 50th Anniversary, the wires on the connector on the engine to which you connect the tender have come a drift, anyone have any idea which wire goes where, or does it matter?
  5. Can any one tell me if Rivarossi H.O. gauge 4-6-4 requires the tender to get the engine to go. Applying power to the engine which is in the cab makes the wheels turn , but nothing happens putting the engine on the rails. If it does require the tender has anyone any idea where one could be obtained in the uk.
  6. Hello everyone, Some advice please. My Hornby Virgin shunter goes from slow through to fast perfectly in reverse, but when in forward mode stops starts until it reaches a high speed. Any ideas why okay in reverse but not in forward mode.
  7. Hello, I have a London Olympic R1153 Train set (Class 395) The grey pantograph is there but the brown piece behind it is missing. The service sheet HSS 357B gives a number for the pantograph but not the brown piece behind it , does anyone know if this part has a number or even if it is available. X6254 appears to only have the pantograph in it and not the piece I am missing. Do all 395's have this type of pantograph or are they all different?. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Regards Dennis Sharp
  8. Thanks to everyone for their assistance. Regards Dennis Sharp
  9. Hello, Can anyone tell me the proper order number for the wheels of a swallow intercity 225 coach. The wheels I purchased are not the same as the ones on the rest of the coach. Regards Dennis Sharp
  10. Chrissaf, Thanks for the onfo. The wheels are for an intercity 225 swallow coach, I have yet to find the correct number for them.
  11. Hello, Is it easy to replace the wheels on an intercity swallow coach, I was considering buying one with missing wheels? Thanks helpmaboab
