Hi all, Im a newbie to railway modelling I recently purchased my first 00 DCC train and tender, it’s a East coast Pullman. I noticed there is a plastic strip/tag coming out of the tender near the front wheels. can some one explain what this is please.

Hi everyone, This is my first venture into model railways and I welcome your advice. Im looking at building a R8011 track layout and using DCC power using a Select or Elite controller. Would a digital power track R8241 and point clips be suitable for the layout.
