Hi would it be ok to solder the wires straight to the track on my 12volt led buffers or would it be best to run separate wires to a transformer.

Hi having received my R3898TTS BR class 08 0-6-0 back from hornby for repair coz wouldn't work at all first time it now works but very intermittently just comes to a stop and sound stops if i apply light pressure down on the loco it goes again and will stop anywhere on the track won't even go along the full length of my programming track which is about 3ft long all my other trains work fine on the same tracks does this sound like the loco is still faulty Nick

Hi all finally got round to sending loco off to hornby got it back added it to railmaster no problem worked straight away but intermittently stops and sound stops apply light pressure onto top of loco and it works its like its not heavy enough to connect with the track all other locos work fine fast and slow on same section of track I'm thinking still loco faulty any suggestions?

I originally tried just adding it but didn't work then tried reading the cvs il give hornby a call and get it replaced thank you for the help

No it was brand new straight from hornby 2 weeks ago dcc fitted

Hi I'm using a elink think I'm finally getting somewhere got my flying scotsman to work and changed the loco id, the class 47 which came with the majestic set is working but wouldn't work on a different id so read the cv,s and worked fine on the original id but struggling with my new shunter won't do anything and won't read any cvs just comes up error reading got a feeling its a faulty loco coz there was a screw lose in the box from the bottom also the other screws were loose any ideas please on what to try next

Hi strange question i know but wondered if anyone in newton abbot area devon could help get my locos working on railmaster I've spent ages watching utube videos on how to add new locos change cv,s but still can't seem to get it right I'm know I'm missing really simple things just want to get 4/5 trains set up with new id,s and working as they should Many thanks Nick

ive manged to add the logo with a class 08 tts and changed the picture logo ddc 05 and detection id 003 thats the only one showing and loco doesnt work
